We are running a separate Lighthouse Teen group on Fridays at Area 43 in Cardigan. They meet from 10 to 4 with one mentor, the inspirational Kat Budd. In these session they have been learning to balance their time between making decisions together around how to spend their days and budget, doing the things that they have decided, and having chilled hangout time too!
They’ve designed and printed t-shirts with Walden Arts, abseiled and climbed with Adventure Beyond, built trust as a group, baked treats together, and played games in the sunshine. For the coming months they are planning orienteering in the Preseli hills, a workshop to create their CVs, a fundraising stall, and even dreaming of a trip to France. There are potential places for this September.
